What is Coaching and How does it compare to Therapy?

I am accredited and certified by the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnotherapy as a Master-Level NLP practitioner and coach; and I have been trained and mentored by one of the Top 2 NLP Master-Trainers in the world. I also hold in Master-Level certifications in branches such as Quantum Linguistics, Accelerated Change Mechanisms, and Values Levels Specialist for authentic self-expression and accelerated evolution.

Simply put, these accurate techniques are used to identify and release limitations and obstacles, so that you can perform better in every aspect of your life and achieve phenomenal results.

The first thing that surprises each client is that we don’t spend a lot of time wallowing about “the problem.” We focus in discovering the structure of what prevents the client from achieving the desired outcome in the first place, then changing this structure to make these goals achievable. Finally, we focus on objectives and the overall development and growth of the individual during this process of achieving those objectives. Depending on the person, this may look like an open conversation or a more structured journey.

Therapy often focuses on the problem and diagnosis. It focuses on the client being “broken” and somehow has to be fixed. It takes for granted that emotions are a sign that something is “wrong” and are therefore to be avoided. In a doctor-patient relationship, the doctor has the solution. Now on the other hand, as a coach, I work with you as a client of equal grounds to create a better, compelling future. I guide and honour you through the challenges and limitations to create wins. As the client, you are ALWAYS in control over your results, as this is your responsibility. You’re supported along the way.

NLP offers specific techniques to find out the client’s own solutions. It assumes that emotions are natural and looks for the INTENTION and PURPOSE for the expression of those emotions.

Often, what takes people 5 years in therapy, they can do in 5 hours with the type of coaching and experiences I provide.

Overall, NLP provides a mental and physiological liberation into greater resilience, resourcefulness, self-awareness, empowerment, and results… and the process is so much fun!
